Greg Lewis is a clinical and educational psychologist who has worked in the disability employment and training field since 1979. In 1983 he founded EDGE Employment Solutions, which has since secured more than 5,000 award-wage jobs in the public and private sectors for people with intellectual, sensory, physical and psychological disabilities.

In 1985, Greg established EDGE Training Solutions, which operated until 2005 as a Registered Training Organisation delivering nationally accredited training to more than 6,000 employees of some 600 Job Network providers, Disability Employment Network providers, Vocational Rehabilitation providers and government agencies.

In the past decade, Greg’s research activities have focused on improving linkages between the post-secondary education sector and the disability employment sector.  Research projects that he is currently undertaking include increasing the participation of people with disabilities in vocational education and training, especially apprenticeships and traineeships, and improving the transition outcomes for graduates with disabilities from TAFE and university into employment.

In 2003, Greg was a member of the consultancy group that undertook the mid-term review of Bridging Pathways 2000 - 2005: The National Strategy for Increasing Opportunities for People with a Disability in Vocational Education and Training. The review led to significant modifications to the strategy.

Greg is a former president of National Disability Services (2003 - 2005), the national peak body for disability services. He is a member of the WA State Training Board and the Logistics Training Council. He is also adjunct Associate Professor at the Centre for Research into Disability and Society at Curtin University of Technology.
